11 – 12 Oct - The Picturesque Terrigal Haven on the Central Coast hosts the Express Advocates Terrigal Food & Wine Fair on the 11th and 12th of October. Crowds of over 70,000 venture down to the Haven for a great weekend of food, wine and entertainment.

25-26 October 2008 – The Cancer Council Relay for Life is a community fundraising event at the Mingara Athletics Track, starting at 4pm Saturday 25th and finishing at 10m Sunday 26th. Teams of 10-15 people take turns to walk, skip, hop or run around the track. 26 Oct – Davistown Putt Putt Regatta & Wooden Boat Festival, The Regatta begins at 8:30am with the boat arrival, registration and judging. The Putt Putt Challenge is underway at 10:30am and the Regatta begins at 11:30am. Over 100 stalls with craft, food, drinks and live bands - singing, dancing, static displays of vintage cars, engines of various types plus much more. For more information please call 4369 8111.
